Step 1 of 3 Indicative France qualification
Your sales route

How do physical products reach France?

Establishment decides the representative question, and the difference between a French business end user and an importer or reseller decides who the producer is. Three short screens give an indicative route before any contact field appears.

Do you sell physical products?
Does a platform established in France state in writing that it ensures your EPR obligations for these products?

French law treats the duty to appoint a representative as satisfied for products whose obligations are ensured by a marketplace established in France. A fee, a label or a payment service is not by itself that statement, so the evidence is reviewed rather than assumed.

Which route best describes sales into France?
Why the B2B split matters: when a French importer or reseller buys the goods and places them on the market itself, the producer duty normally follows that buyer. A direct sale to a business end user is not automatically treated the same way and stays in the allocation review.
