Review the France route
France cost calculator · published 2026 scale

Estimate the French eco-contribution without hiding it inside a service fee.

French household packaging is declared per consumer sales unit, not per kilogram. Enter the units you ship to France in a year, choose the closest product family, and the calculator applies the published cap and minimum exactly as the scale states them.

01

What do you place on the French market?

Household packaging can be estimated below. Every other stream has its own approved eco-organisations, its own scale and its own unique identifier, so it is scoped by a person.

02

Consumer sales units shipped to France per year

A consumer sales unit (UVC) is one packaged product sold to a final consumer. For most cross-border sellers this is the number of items shipped to French customers in a year.

03

Your product family and shipment packaging

The published scale sets one amount per unit for each product family. Choosing the closest family is a scoping step, not a declaration decision.

04

Optional Info-tri and identifier display review

The result is non-binding. Producer allocation, the eco-organisation actually joined, the declaration mode and eco-modulation all change the final amount. Contributions for other streams are never estimated from a packaging scale.

What the calculator does — and does not do

01

One published simplified scale

The estimate uses the Léko 2026 simplified sectoral scale for household packaging and papers: an amount per consumer sales unit for each product family, a cap below 20,000 units and a minimum annual billing amount.

02

Not the only scale

Citeo and Adelphe are approved for the same stream and publish their own amounts. Choosing an eco-organisation is a client decision that changes the number, and eco-modulation bonuses or penalties are never applied automatically here.

03

Separate cost owners

Standard is an indicative €474/year plus €150 initial setup. Eco-contributions are set and invoiced by the eco-organisation on its own scale, and VAT and other third-party costs stay separate.

Calculator questions

+

Why is the result capped at €150?

The published simplified scale caps the declaration amount at €150 excluding VAT below 20,000 consumer sales units a year. The cap belongs to the eco-organisation and can change when the scale changes.

+

Why does a tiny volume still cost €95?

The same scale sets a minimum annual billing amount of €95 excluding VAT, so a very small volume does not produce a smaller invoice.

+

What happens above 500,000 units?

The simplified scale stops applying and a detailed declaration by material and weight is required. The calculator refuses to extrapolate and marks the case for human review instead.

+

Why does shipment packaging change the amount?

The scale publishes two amounts per product family: one without and one with the shipment packaging used for retail, take-away or distance sales. Cross-border e-commerce normally uses the second.

+

Does the result grant Amazon Starter?

No. Starter is an indicative €399 first-year and €299 renewal reference for a narrow Amazon-only profile. Channel, volume, product family and history need a human review.

+

What remains quote-only?

Every stream other than household packaging, and the final Info-tri and identifier display review. Selecting them marks the estimate as open rather than inventing an external tariff.
