Paid outside our service fee

The eco-contribution belongs to the eco-organisation.

Several eco-organisations are approved for household packaging and papers, and each publishes its own scale. The amounts below come from one published 2026 scale, quoted per consumer sales unit and excluding VAT. Another approved organisation publishes different amounts for the same duty.

Published cap and minimum

Below 20,000 consumer sales units a year the simplified declaration amount is capped at €150 excluding VAT, and the scale sets a minimum annual billing amount of €95 excluding VAT. Above 500,000 units a detailed declaration by material and weight applies instead.

Annual calendar

1 January to 28 or 29 February for the previous calendar year. Under the published Léko terms an annual contribution of €10,000 or less is invoiced annually by 31 March; above that amount quarterly invoicing applies.

Cross-border e-commerce normally uses the second column, because the scale prices the shipment packaging separately. Eco-modulation bonuses and penalties then apply on published criteria and are never assumed here.

Declaration logic

Volume decides the mode, not the duty.

The published thresholds change what you must be able to produce. They never remove the registration, the annual filing or the marking duties.

Below 20,000 units

The simplified declaration amount is capped at €150 excluding VAT under the published 2026 scale.

Minimum billing

€95 excluding VAT a year, so a very small volume does not produce a smaller invoice.

Up to 500,000 units

The simplified sectoral declaration applies, based on units and product family.

Above 500,000 units

A detailed declaration by material and weight applies, and the case is reviewed by a person.

Annual window

1 January to the end of February for the previous calendar year, on the portal of the eco-organisation joined.

Invoicing

An annual contribution of €10,000 or less is invoiced annually by 31 March; larger amounts are invoiced quarterly.

Starter, Standard, setup, additional schemes and any agreed marking review are eprfrance.com service lines.

Eco-contributions

Membership and contribution amounts are charged by the eco-organisation under the client’s own position with it.

VAT

VAT treatment is confirmed on the written proposal and invoice; displayed references are VAT-exclusive.

Exceptional work

Historical regularisation, translations, extra variants and work outside scope require separate approval.

Pricing questions

What is included in the service price?

Only the private work and limits set out in the written proposal. Eco-contributions, VAT and external costs stay separate.

Does Standard guarantee registration or a marketplace result?

No. Eco-organisations, ADEME and each marketplace make their own decisions. We prepare and coordinate evidence for the agreed scope.

Does Amazon Starter include previous years?

No. Prior periods or historical regularisation make the restricted Starter route ineligible and require a separate review.

Can we pick the eco-organisation with the lowest headline rate?

The choice is yours, but caps, minimums, thresholds and modulation criteria move the result. We compare published terms and take no commission from any of them.

Is the representative established in France a tax representative?

No. Those roles are distinct, and we are not an eco-organisation either. The mandate and its perimeter are defined only in a separate written engagement.
