Review the France route
About us

French EPR needs context, not shortcuts.

eprfrance.com brings together public guidance, indicative pricing, an eco-contribution calculator and a short scope check for businesses selling into France.

Why we built the site

One cross-border sale can involve several regimes and decision-makers.

A company that is not established in France may need to separate the representative duty, household packaging, the other schemes and the marking rules, while also mapping marketplaces, own-shop sales and French resellers.

The site structures those first questions and links to primary sources. It does not replace ADEME, an approved eco-organisation, a public authority, a marketplace or legal advice.

When someone requests help, the EPR Europe team responds on behalf of the company operating eprfrance.com. Any proposal, mandate or service is agreed separately outside the public site.

How we work

Visible sources, explicit limits and a human response.

Facts before conclusions

Entity, establishment, channel, customer and products must be known before a route is treated as applicable.

Dated sources

Material rules, rates and operational status are tied to a primary source and review date.

Indicative pricing

Private service references, eco-contributions and other external costs remain separate and do not form an offer.

Independent third parties

ADEME, approved eco-organisations, public authorities and marketplaces control their own procedures, timing and decisions.

Minimum data

Forms request only the data needed for a response, and the assistant should not receive personal or confidential data.

Human review

Where a conclusion depends on facts or interpretation, the site shows uncertainty and offers a human review.

The team

People who make the information usable and keep requests human.

Institutional context

Official evidence comes from the body that issues it.

Membership, registers, declarations and marketplace decisions are separate. Always match the document to the entity, product stream and sales route.

National register

ADEME

Operates the national producer register, issues one unique identifier per scheme and publishes registered producers.

Scheme operators

Approved eco-organisations

Citeo, Adelphe, Léko, Refashion and the other approved organisations set their own published scales, membership terms and declaration portals.

National law

Code de l’environnement

Sets the producer duties, the representative duty for companies not established in France, the identifier display rules and the penalties.

EU framework

European Union

Regulation (EU) 2025/40 applies alongside the national procedure. Implementing measures continue to develop.

eprfrance.com is an independent private service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by ADEME, Citeo, Adelphe, Léko, Refashion, any other approved eco-organisation, the French administration or Amazon. It is not an eco-organisation and holds no approval. Each organisation controls its own decisions and evidence.
