Review the France route
For electronics and battery sellers

One product can create three files,
each with its own identifier.

A speaker in a box with a battery inside touches household packaging, electrical equipment and batteries. Packaging is an active priced service; the other streams are provided as information and scoped through a manual quote.

Packaging pricing shown separately · €149/year per additional stream where a fixed scope is agreed · otherwise manual quote

Timing depends on document completeness and independent registry and scheme review

Electronic devices, embedded batteries and packaging separated into French EPR streams
Separate schemes

Confirm the eco-organisation before filing anything

Approved eco-organisations differ by scheme and change over time. The applicable list is checked on the ADEME publication rather than remembered.

A multi-stream catalogue needs separate controls

The embedded battery disappears

A battery supplied inside equipment still needs its own classification, its own scheme and its own identifier.

One identifier is reused everywhere

The register issues one identifier per scheme. A packaging identifier submitted in an electrical-equipment field is a mismatch.

A packaging fee is assumed to cover everything

Each scheme has its own approved eco-organisations, its own scale and its own recurring duties, so it is quoted separately.

What's included

Included in the written scope.

  • Catalogue map for equipment, batteries and packaging
  • Working category and technical-data checklist per stream
  • Priced household-packaging scope where eligible
  • Eco-organisation options per stream, with the choice left to the client
  • Representative mandate perimeter across several streams
  • Manual quote for the additional streams after classification
How it works

Four controlled steps.

01

Map the facts

Record the entity, countries, channels, contracts and products relevant to electronics and battery sales.

02

Separate the streams

Each scheme is assessed independently, with its own eco-organisation and identifier, and assumptions marked for confirmation.

03

Confirm the written scope

Private fees, exclusions, external costs and client approvals are set out before any work begins.

04

Maintain authentic evidence

Official documents, filings, invoices and changes remain linked to the entity and stream that produced them.

Frequently asked

Does packaging registration cover equipment and batteries?

No. They are separate schemes with separate identifiers, separate eco-organisations and separate recurring duties.

How many identifiers will we need?

As many as the schemes concerned. The public register shows producers holding several identifiers precisely for that reason.

Do you publish a fixed price for these streams?

No. Classification, catalogue size and the eco-organisation joined change the work and the contributions, so they are quoted after review.

Is the visible fee shown to consumers part of this?

Display rules that apply to certain equipment sold to consumers are reviewed with the file rather than assumed from another market.
